Al Khalidi Hospital is proud to host some of the top cardiologists in Jordan to perform the first assisted cardiac technology in the kingdom.
Dr. Amr Al Karmi, Dr. Ibrahim Jarad and Dr. Karim Salhiyyah pioneered this procedure at Al Khalidi. The iVAC 2L facilitates the performance of cardiac catheterization for high risk heart failure patients. The insertion of this coronary stent placement has been performed on one of our patients and we are happy to announce the success of the procedure.
The 37th GOLA mission has come to end on Friday with successful results We’d like to thank the team for thier endless efforts in bringing hope to the lives of these children. The mission conducted 15 complex surgeries for children with heart conditions between the ages of 7 months to 13 years. We are happy and grateful to share that these children are on their way to full recovery.

This new bariatric surgery method has been proven to have an easier recovery with less complications.
This marks a great milestone in bariatric surgeries and we are very happy to be one of the first institutions in the region to perform such a procedure at our hospital.
