Al Khalidi Hospital’s laboratory is a comprehensive lab equipped with the latest technology to monitor and detect diseases and abnormalities. Adopting the newest computerized instrumentation, the lab operates 24 hours running tests, evaluations and reporting results to ensure the best medical care. Today the Al Khalidi laboratory is one of the largest referral lab in Jordan collecting samples from within the country and neighboring Arab countries.
The lab’s specialties include clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, hematology, immunology and virology, as well as body fluid tests. It also features high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and pathology. Other advanced tests include bone marrow transplant testing, special tests department, molecular genetics and PCR, as well as neonatal screening and inborn error of metabolism, atomic absorption, polarography for trace elements and heavy metals analysis.
