The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Al Khalidi Hospital is one of the largest in Jordan with a trained staff dedicated solely for intensive care patients. The unit consists of 20 ICU beds with the capacity to treat patients for medical, surgical, cardiac and neurological cases.
Dedicated to personalized care, the ICU at Al Khalidi Hospital has a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio and in some cases a 1:2 ratio depending on the case severity. The staff are all trianed to ensure all patients receive the best critical care.
The unit is newly renovated and equipped with the latest technology. It also includes negative pressure rooms to ensure the proper standards of infection control are applied.
