Dr. Khaled is a pediatric cardiologist with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Jordan University of Science and Technology-Irbid. He is certified by the American Board in Pediatrics in 1997 after which he got certified by the American Board in Pediatric Cardiology in 2000.
Dr. Khaled’s training and experience includes a rotating internship in Al Bashir Teaching Hospital in Jordan and a General Practitioner and Emergency House Officer at Shmaisani Private Hospital in Jordan. He then moved to Nebraska to continue his training at University of Nebraska Medical Center for 3 years in which he was Co Chief resident. Dr. Khaled continued his fellowship in pediatric cardiology in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital-Division of Cardiology for 3 years.
Today Dr. Khaled is a senior consultant pediatric cardiologist and practices in his private clinic at Al Khalidi Medical Plaza. He is also a part-time pediatric cardiologist at the King Hussein Cancer Center. Dr. Khaled is licensed by the Ministry of Health in Amman, Jordan and also holds permanent medical licenses from Nebraska and Ohio. He also shares a strong interest in research and is an author of a several research papers.
